MESSAGE TO THE DUTCH: I am no Van Gogh. I paint on the weekends and sometimes at night. Van Gogh had an epiphany, I have a hobby. I sell my work now and then, which makes me feel good. That may seem one-dimensional and shallow, but I’m just being honest. I think every artist wants to be liked, the way that every person wants to be liked. Painting may be dead, but so is punk.
